Well as you can see by the picture above ^^^....Sony will be releasing a brand new headset for the PS3 console.
This awesome headset will be available for $99.99 at your shopping center this September. There were a couple of games that were Killzone and Gran Turismo that was also designed for this surround sound audio headset. This headset has 7.1 virtual surround sound, which let's you hear all the in-game audio, OR, if you are in a fighting situation on a First Person Shooter game, it will make you think it's real.
This WIRELESS headset was designed for those hardcore gamers that are on for hours, which will probably make them be on for longer since the headset ear pieces are covered with comfort.
Connecting the Wireless Stereo Headset for the PS3 is made quite easy with the included USB Wireless Adapter. It comes with Volume Controls to adjust how loud you want the sound / music, or a Mute button so you won't have to interrupt game play and fumble with the buttons.
If you are worrying about the Battery Status, then there's NO NEED! The Battery Status, sound controls, etc, is supplied with on-screen headset status updates so you will know when to charge it. This also offers the BEST voice chat, that is crystal clear for your online conversations.
